Dean Jacobs
Dean supported the lab with technical issues and completed his Master’s dissertation there, examining the relationships between maternal attachment, mother-infant gaze synchrony, and infant self-regulation. His primary areas of interest were developmental and transgenerational trauma, and he worked at an in-patient Tier 4 CAMHS unit for 5-13 year olds.
Prior to his Psychology MSc, Dean obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Management Studies with Spanish and studied eight languages at undergraduate and Master’s level. He worked as a translator and interpreter for the UK Government and was the founder and CEO of an EdTech company that helped children learn languages through video games.
