Paul J Black
Paul is an intern research assistant at ISEY, where he assists in conducting naturalistic and controlled studies, involving parents and their children, both in the lab, and during home visits.
His role includes communication and participant recruitment for studies. Alongside his work at the lab, Paul is pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology & Health Services at Goldsmiths, University of London, and is also an assistant psychologist at Bethlem Royal Psychiatric Hospital. He is particularly interested in childhood trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), taking into account the physical impacts, as well as the mental; believing that a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between mind and body, is essential to advancing truly holistic trauma-informed care.
