Tilly Potter

Tilly is the Institute Manager of ISEY. She holds a Master of Research in Psychological Methods with distinction and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with Criminology from the University of Sussex.

During her master's program, Tilly interned as a research assistant at the Sussex Baby Lab under Professor Anna Franklin. In this role, she contributed to multiple studies on infant perception, managing participant recruitment, data collection with both infants and adults, including eye-tracking and wearable device studies, and behavioural data analysis.

Her master’s dissertation, conducted at the Sussex Baby Lab under Dr. Alice Skelton and in collaboration with the University of Durham, explored whether scenic exposure affected infants’ visual working memory. Tilly’s research interests focus on the impact of nature on children's development and how these insights can inform real-world applications.
