Sharon Cretì
Sharon Cretì was doing a six-month internship at the UEL BabyDevLab. Prior to this, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from the University of Pavia and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the same university. Her Master’s thesis discussed the problem of personal identity, specifically examining the role of cocaine in maintaining personal identity in post-modern society through a cognitive neuropsychological psychotherapy approach.
During her studies, she worked in Italy as a teacher at a nursery with children aged between 3 and 5 years old, as well as at a primary school with children aged between 6 and 10 years old. She considered this a very important and satisfying educational experience, as it allowed her to develop a considerable interest in childhood and developmental psychology.
Following her internship, Sharon planned to take the Italian State Exam to become a qualified psychologist and to continue her studies for a postgraduate specialization in cognitive neuropsychological psychotherapy.
